My name is, as you may have already guessed, David Woodfield. I am a freelance website and mobile application developer, though I completed two summer internships as a web designer for
Cincinnati Bell.
I began mobile app development in '09 when my two brothers and I started a company called
Woodfield Labs, LLC. I started web design shortly afterwards in order to build a company website. Since that time, I have designed websites for several local businesses, including an internet startup
DailyBizDeal and a local ice cream shop,
The Cone.
Another major site that I designed and developed was the
World Running League, a website which connected 150 runners around the world. Each week, runners competed on teams in weekly mileage competitions. At the end of the "season", the top teams competed in playoffs to determine the top team. This league ran for 7 seasons before I finally retired it. Although the league has now ended, the
website still remains live.
In February of 2011, I released an iPhone/iPad and Android app that I developed for my church's radio broadcast ministry. The app,
Daily Devotion has since been downloaded to over 200,000 phones and tablets in over 100 different countries. The app currently has an average 4.5 star rating and is available for free on
iOS and
Android.
